Job description: The Field Service Technician will execute (based on the experience, skills and training level) the maintenance, troubleshooting. repair, installation and commissioning of the INNIO Jenbacher gas engine at customer sites. As the key technical lead for problem solving on the engine at the customer site, the role will be the first line of contact with the customer. In this role you will be responsible for: Execute service on the engines in line with maintenance protocols and customer expectation. Carry out minor repairs on the engine in addition to the planned service. Execute major service on the engine in cooperation with colleagues.Coordinate the task with external suppliers who provide specialist duties. Monitor activities of the maintenance compliant to the EHS protocol Troubleshooting engines in the field of electronics and mechanics. Create detailed site reports with all the necessary/requested informations. Work effectively as part of a team of technicians or independently. Process timesheets, expense reports, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) forms, and job reports in a timely manner. Comply with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work site. Perform other duties as assigned. Available for extensive travel, up to 70%. Available to work during week end when needed ( on-call duty ) Required profile:Your profile: At least 2 years of reciprocating engine experience as service technician. Able to understand and implement technical and maintenance jobs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong customer focus. Team building contributor. Technical high school preferred Italian English desired German desired Familiar with reciprocating gas and/or diesel engines. Experience as mechanic, electrician, with IT skills preferred.
