CEO LUXURY INDUSTRIAL PLANT
Purpose of the Role
The role will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s industrial and commercial transformation while maintaining operational stability and ensuring the ongoing performance of the existing business.
Reporting directly to the Group Industrial Director, the CEO will ensure operational excellence, strengthen positioning as a preferred partner for major luxury groups, and foster new business opportunities across the high-end fashion landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a key business partner to the Group Industrial Director, contributing to strategic decision-making and long-term vision.
* Oversee production planning, supply chain, and process improvements to guarantee timely and flawless delivery and qualitative KPI of finished product.
* Lead and optimize all industrial manufacturing operations, optimize production capacity, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability in line with luxury industry standards and compliance expectations.
* Manage all the first managerial line (Finance, HR, Admin, IT, Ops Managers) and develop teams with a strong focus on performance, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
* Lead and optimize the P&L, ensuring efficiency and excellence across all industrial operations.
* Drive the company’s transformation into a primary partner for international luxury groups, securing long-term strategic alignment.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the luxury industry, leveraging an established network to generate new business opportunities.
* Support the development of commercial strategies to broaden the client base beyond existing partnerships, enhancing growth and resilience.
Requirements
* Experience: At least 10 years in senior operational leadership roles within the luxury fashion industry. Previous COO, Operations Director, or Industrial Director.
* Education: University degree in Engineering; MBA or postgraduate education is a plus.
* Sector Knowledge: Deep understanding of luxury leathergoods manufacturing processes, quality standards, and industrial dynamics specific to the luxury industry.
* Leadership: Proven track record in leading and motivating cross-functional teams, with excellent people management and organizational development skills.
* Strategic Thinking: Experience in managing industrial transformations, scaling operations, and driving efficiency programs while maintaining craftsmanship and excellence.
* Languages: Fluency in Italian and English required
