Eurofins NSC Italia is seeking a highly motivated Country Tax Manager to join its team in Milan North-East (Vimodrone Site, Metro Verde: Cascina Burrona).
Job Overview
Eurofins Group has established National Service Centres (NSC) in countries with significant presence to enhance efficiency and compliance. The increasing complexity of tax regulations makes managing direct and indirect tax affairs a key priority.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure timely tax compliance and reporting, while providing tax management and optimization advice at local and international levels to support and enhance business operations.
The Tax Manager reports to the National Finance Director and in a dotted line to the Group Head of Taxes .
Main Responsibilities
* Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate local tax filings (corporate income taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.) and keep the tax unity situation updated.
* Reporting Duties: Handle mandatory reporting obligations such as Country-by-Country Reports, DAC-6 notifications, Pillar II returns/forms, etc.
* Tax Accounting: Manage local tax accruals, deferred tax positions, and report data to Group, analyzing tax processes and generating reports.
* Tax Risk Management: Develop control frameworks to document, report, and mitigate tax risks, monitoring legislative changes.
* Advisory & Strategies: Provide tax advice, propose optimization ideas, support reorganizations, M&A, financing structures, and international tax treaty applications.
* Transfer Pricing: Update transfer pricing documentation annually to ensure compliance and avoid fines.
* Global Minimum Tax / US CAMT: Be familiar with Pillar II implications, including calculations for Global Minimum Tax and US CAMT.
* Tax Audits & Claims: Support authorities' requests, audits, claims, and court cases.
* Participation in Working Groups: Engage in international tax working groups organized centrally.
Qualifications
Education: Master in Law or Economics; Master in Tax Law is a plus.
Experience: 5-7 years in Big-4 or comparable firm, or industry sector focusing on corporate tax. Transfer pricing and US/Global Minimum Tax experience are pluses.
Personal Skills: Detail-oriented, reliable, energetic, autonomous, confident, proactive, adaptable, good communicator, team-oriented with development focus.
Technical Skills: Strong analytical ability, comprehensive technical knowledge, strategic planning, stakeholder management.
Languages: Fluent in Italian and English; French is an asset.
