The majority of issues that occur are of a mechanical nature (80%); however, its essential technicians are competent electrically to work on 400V systems. /liliSupporting with new system commissioning including the hardware configuration and online connection of Siemens Controllers and the setting of the parameters on Danfoss frequency converters and Schneider DC motors. /liliDealing with automation issues including identifying and resolving issues with HMIs. /liliTroubleshooting PLC code and making adjustments to ensure systems are functioning correctly. /liliMechanical duties which include changing gears, sprockets, bearings etc. /liliAttending a low number of customer calls as each case can be extremely complicated and time consuming. /liliCompleting preventative maintenance and installation work which is often booked 2-3 months in advance, whilst also reacting to more pressing breakdowns and repairs. /liliWorking with the engineering planner to coordinate activities and movements. /liliConducting routine service and calibration work, alongside more reactive maintenance, including fault finding, problem resolution and repair. /liliCompleting service visit reports. /liliSupporting customers outside of Italy should an emergency occur requiring your support. /li /ulpbr/ppbAbout You /b /ppbr/ppThe successful candidate will possess at least 2+ years of service engineering / technician experience, gained working on complex equipment, which could include but not limited to, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Scientific Equipment, Food Processing, Logistics Automation, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Metalworking Equipment, Robotic Welding, Robotic Spraying, Medical, Biomedical, Scientific or other high value complex equipment. /ppbr/ppPast experience working on Siemens PLCs, Danfoss Frequency Converters, Schneider DC Motors and ABB Pluto Safety PLCs would be highly advantageous. /ppbr/ppCandidates must speak advance level English, a good level of Italian and be multiskilled across mechanical and electrical. You must be comfortable with travel and nights away when needed. /ppbr/ppAn education or qualifications to work on 400V systems is required as is a logical and methodical approach to finding fault and the ability to read electrical schematics. /ppbr/ppA valid local driving license is essential, as is the right to work in Italy.
