Job Title: Plant Manager
Location: Attleboro, MA
Job Description
As our Plant Director, you will manage plant operations by overseeing scheduling, manpower, machinery, to meet customer requirements, develop and control costs within budget, implement programs to achieve safety goals, enforce policies to meet regulatory requirements, and facilitate the development and commercialization of new processes, materials, and products through plant equipment.
Duties:
* Oversee activities related to manufacturing products or providing services.
* Review financial statements, production reports, and performance data to measure productivity, achieve goals, and identify areas for cost reduction and improvement.
* Manage staff, including preparing work schedules and assigning duties.
* Coordinate financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and improve efficiency.
* Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, and procedures in collaboration with corporate manufacturing and HR personnel.
* Determine staffing needs, and oversee hiring and training processes.
* Plan and direct activities such as promotional orders and new product launches, coordinating with other departments as needed.
Required Experience:
* 13-15 years of professional experience, including 3-5 years in a Plant Manager role.
* People and team development skills.
* Strong communication skills with internal staff and external vendors/customers.
* Ability to quickly acquire knowledge and generate ideas.
* Strong follow-through and engagement.
* Focus on continuous improvement.
