Position:
The candidate will ensure the implementation of all Product Assurance (PA) tasks for Mechanical, Pyrotechnic, and Propulsion articles developed by System Suppliers (Sub-contractors) for space projects. Responsibilities include:
* Following product development stages, including Design Reviews until qualification
* Managing verifications related to production, testing, product audits, and quality verifications before delivery
* Handling escapes and Non-Conformances, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, ensuring proper communication to Customer and Authorities
* Preparing and processing KPIs for Supply Chain Quality processes
* Ensuring compliance with project requirements and managing deviations as necessary
* Establishing and maintaining interface with subcontractors’ quality representatives on PA matters
* Supervising and directing product development and qualification activities concerning quality aspects
* Formalizing lessons learned for continuous improvement
* Coordinating project quality team activities to ensure PA requirements are properly communicated down to all subcontractors
* Participating in project meetings and reviews, providing quality insights
* Exercising alerts and veto rights according to established processes
* Implementing continuous improvement processes
Requirements:
* Degree in Industrial Engineering, STEM, or equivalent experience
* At least 3 years of experience in quality, preferably as Project/Product PA
* Experience in the Space Domain is preferred
* Fluency in English
* Good communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work effectively in complex, cross-functional, process-oriented teams
* Proactivity and open-mindedness
* Attitude to foster change, drive improvements, and learn from lessons learned
