Role focused on developing and executing the Duty-Free channel strategy across customers and geographic areas, in alignment with the Global Export Marketing Director's sales and marketing objectives, and in compliance with the company’s commercial policy, mission and corporate image. Responsibilities
Formulate the annual strategy for the Duty-Free channel by customer and geography, defining annual sales targets, portfolio strategy and Advertising & Promotion (A&P) investments. Identify drivers of growth, discuss the strategy with responsible managers, and present it for approval to the President. Use sales and consumption data in the spirits sector to negotiate annual contracts with Duty-Free channel customers (airports and border duty-free operators, ship owners, diplomatic sector operators, cruise sector distributors), and share results with the manager. Collaborate with the Manager and CFO to define the budget for Advertising & Promotion activities for the Duty-Free channel. Ensure implementation of policies on availability, visibility, quality, promotion and pricing of products for each brand and within each Duty Free operation, in collaboration with the Manager. Supervise the Duty-Free channel market and customers through regular, lasting contacts and planned activities in agreement with the manager. Coordinate Brand Ambassador activities within the main Duty Free locations. Identify commercial opportunities in the Duty-Free channel, in existing and new countries, and drive business development activities to strengthen the company’s global presence. Ensure the company’s presence at main Duty Free and Travel Retail events with support from the Head of External Relations and Events. Collaborate with communication agencies and the Global Export Marketing Department on the development of the marketing plan. Collaborate with Export Managers to define commercial strategies and manage Brand Ambassadors for Duty-Free activities (e.g., organization/participation in events). Requirements
Knowledge of regulations relating to the exchange of goods between EU and non-EU countries. Fluency in English; knowledge of another foreign language is a plus.
