With a natural flair for lifestyle hospitality and strong communication skills, the Commis de Rang works closely with outlet's colleagues in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of our Guests.Key ResponsibilitiesSeats and serve food and beverages to guests according to established sequence and procedures. Helps on taking orders when required.Present menus, answer guest inquiries, and make recommendations regarding food, beverage, and serviceClear and reset tables at the conclusion of each courseMaintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and service throughout operationsKnows how to use the Micros systemDemonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu, and the ability to recommend combinations and upsell alternatives when requiredProvide a welcoming and professional service to guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinnerSupport special events and high-volume service periodsEnsure compliance with service and hygiene standards at all timesPromote a guest-focused and service-driven culture within the outletCandidate ProfileMinimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related hospitality environmentHigh standards of personal presentation and groomingStrong knowledge of menu items and beverage offeringsAbility to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure and objectivityStrong interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindsetKnowledge of the city of Rome and historyNative or Fluent in Italian and English.
