What We're Looking For
We are currently looking for a qualified professional to join our team based in North:East Italy. The role primarily involves assessing the design, production, and in:service aspects of engineering assets, using established procedures, personal experience, and technical knowledge suited to routine situations.A key focus of the position will be conducting classification and statutory surveys for ships in service.

The role

Proactively support the service delivery team contributing to the success of the Marine and Offshore and LR as a wholes
:
Survey at equipment manufacturer's works for both verification and certification requirements.
:
Provide technical assistance, as requested, to Marine and Offshore Surveyors in other operating regions.
:
Control of 'management of change' processes for a variety of clients
:
Prepare/Review Performance Standards and Written Schemes of Verification.
:
Support opportunities for business in the local area
:
Provide good control of assigned work, including communicating with clients, financial control, and timely and accurate reporting.
:
Take an active role in all work in the area, proactively managing contracts with a focus on service delivery, retention and developing client relationships.
:
Work closely with colleagues from other departments and business streams, encouraging collaboration and supporting business interests.
:
Work in accordance with role profile and behavioural competencies for the band and work with the team to ensure that they achieve their behavioural competencies for their band.

Degree:qualified surveyor, however, candidates with other qualifications and relevant industrial experience will be considered.
:
A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organisation recognised by Lloyd's Register within the relevant field of engineering or physical science (minimum of two years programme) or Qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant sea:going experience as a certificated ship's officer.

Sufficient knowledge to obtain authorisations to enable survey of electrical and mechanical
:
Preferred but not necessary: Experience of verification and/or class, statutory and engineering experience with a working knowledge of international codes and standards
:
A proven track record of relevant transferable skills and experience.
