A Day in the LifeTo support our Renal Denervation & AngioFFR businesses, we are currently looking for a fulltime independent, flexible and open-minded Market Development Specialist for Italy with excellent communication skills and natural ability to motivate others. This is a great challenge for a result-driven professional with market development experience within medical devices, pharma or healthcare and an entrepreneurial spirit.
As a Market Development Specialist, reporting directly to the Country Sales Manager, your role transcends a simple job: it's a chance to pioneer, change and shape the future of medical advancements. Picture yourself as the catalyst for awareness and adoption, leading market development for cutting-edge Renal Denervation & AngioFFR products.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Developing and executing strategic market development plans to promote the renal denervation & AngioFFR products and solutions
- Increase Renal Denervation (RDN) therapy & AngioFFR awareness and enhance product visibility through the organization of conferences, workshop, congress activities, customer engagement program and educational plans with the target audience (referrals and interventional cardiologists)
- Cultivating and fostering strong partnership with relevant scientific societies, associations and key opinion leaders
- Supporting the sales team in achieving revenue target for renal denervation & AngioFFR and collaborating with them to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand market share and build long-term customer relationships
- Providing training program to the sales team, ensuring a deep understanding of renal denervation & AngioFFR products and their competitive advantages, and supporting them with tools and marketing materials to ensure a unified and effective sales approach
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, Training & Education, communication, Value-Based Healthcare, Governmental affairs) to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with product development
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels with colleagues in the European team to ensure alignment of marketing strategies, share best practices, and foster cohesive regional approach.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ Years of sales and market development experience within medical devices/healthcare or Pharmaceutical Industry
- Demonstrated ability to apply marketing experience and business knowledge to drive achievement of business goals
- Strong business acumen and experience of working successfully in a matrix organization
- Excellent IT skills, including all Microsoft packages and proficiency in using modern multi-media tools, sales systems and daily usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Willingness to travel: up to 70%.
