Job Summary: In this position you directly will report to the plant manager and you will supervise, coordinate and improve the LEAN activities for a factory of 49 Employees. - Promote the Lean Enterprise initiative on-site, with the support of corporate Lean. Work with the operators leading kaizen events to support improvements in factory KPIs such as cycle time, inventory, labor hours or scrap. - Implement and sustain basic Lean tools, like Lean Daily Management boards, 5S or Standard Work. - Train operators in basic Lean tools and concepts. - In this role you will have multiple opportunities for learning and improving your Lean skills and knowledge. This role, if successfully fulfilled, will allow you promoting to operations manager. Responsibilities: 3 years of proven experience working with Lean manufacturing in operations. - You have hands-on experience as a change agent. - Good skills in coaching and communicating. Strong facilitation skills and working knowledge of the kaizen cycle. - Leading small groups is your second nature, and youre able to influence people. - Perseverant, as you will have to manage resistance to change. - Engineer degree or similar. - Good knowledge of Lean tools and Problem-Solving tools.
