The role mainly involves drafting and negotiating real estate agreements (including asset purchases and going‑concern transactions), with appropriate support and supervision from senior legal colleagues. /p pYou will act as a trusted legal partner to the business, delivering practical, timely, and business‑oriented advice, while progressively strengthening your expertise in complex real estate and commercial matters. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Commercial Contracts with Real Estate Focus /h3 ul liDraft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, with a strong emphasis on real estate contracts, including: ul liCommercial and retail lease agreements /li liLease amendments, renewals, assignments, and terminations /li liSale and purchase agreements for real estate assets /li liAsset purchase and going‑concern transactions (with supervision as required) /li liLetters of intent, MOUs, and term sheets /li /ul /li liSupport real‑estate acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, and portfolio management activities, assisting with legal documentation, coordination, and closings. /li liAssist with legal due diligence for real‑estate transactions and portfolio reviews, identifying key risks and contractual issues. /li /ul h3Broader Commercial Operational Contracts /h3 ul liDraft and negotiate ancillary and operational commercial agreements connected to the company’s activities, including: ul liService agreements /li liFacility management and maintenance contracts /li liUtilities, energy, and property‑related service agreements /li liLogistics, warehousing, and other operational contracts /li /ul /li liSupport contract lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with internal standards, policies, and risk guidelines. /li /ul h3Legal Advisory Risk Management /h3 ul liProvide clear, pragmatic legal advice on commercial and real‑estate matters to internal stakeholders. /li liEnsure agreements comply with applicable laws, internal policies, and best practices. /li liIdentify legal and contractual risks and support the implementation of appropriate mitigation strategies. /li liAssist in managing real‑estate‑related disputes or claims, coordinating with external counsel when required. /li /ul h3Cross‑Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liWork closely with Real Estate, Finance and Operations teams. /li liContribute to legal support for store openings, renewals, relocations, and closures. /li liDevelop a strong understanding of the business and commercial context to tailor legal advice accordingly. /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience /h3 ul liLaw degree with strong academic credentials and bar qualification required. /li liBetween 4 and 6 years of post‑qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a reputable law firm (mandatory). /li liProven and solid experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation. /li liExperience in retail, consumer goods, logistics, or asset‑heavy industries is a plus. /li liBasic knowledge of company law and extraordinary corporate operations is an advantage. /li liFull professional fluency in English (written and spoken). /li /ul h3Key Skills Competencies /h3 ul liStrong drafting and negotiation skills across commercial contracts. /li liSound understanding of real‑estate transactions and contractual risk allocation. /li liCommercially minded, with the ability to deliver pragmatic, business‑oriented legal solutions. /li liClear and effective communicator, capable of translating legal concepts into practical guidance. /li liCollaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. /li liWell‑organized, able to manage multiple matters simultaneously. /li liHigh attention to detail, reliability, and professional integrity. /li liMotivation to learn, grow, and progressively take on greater responsibility. /li /ul h3Why Join Us? /h3 pIn OVS Group you will find a structured company, a dynamic and strongly results‑oriented environment.
