The team you will be a part of
In this role, located in Cassinetta di Biandronno, Italy, you will be part of the Procurement team of Beko Europe, specially within the Facility category of our Indirect Procurement division.
This role in summary
As an Indirect Procurement Intern, you will support the Indirect Procurement team in managing suppliers, running tenders/RFQs, and executing key procurement activities. You’ll gain hands-on experience with procurement processes in a multinational environment, learn how to manage supplier relationships, ensure policy compliance, contribute to cost optimization initiatives, and manage contract lifecycle.
You will also assist in maintaining procurement databases, in supporting business automation where possible, in working on purchase requisitions, and in providing operational support to the buyers of the team. This internship offers valuable exposure to end-to-end procurement operations and the opportunity to develop both analytical and negotiation skills.
Your responsibilities will include
- Support the procurement team in supplier management and document verification in line with company policies.
- Assist with tender preparation and management.
- Support local buyers in daily procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, contract creation, and order tracking.
- Maintain and update procurement databases to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor compliance with procurement policies and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct supplier benchmarking and basic cost analysis to support sourcing decisions.
- Help prepare and manage contract documentation within company systems.
- Support data analysis and reporting activities for procurement performance and savings tracking.
Minimum requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and the rest of the Office package; proficiency in data management tools is a plus.
- Fluent in English and in Italian.
- Availability: Full-time (40 hours per week) with hybrid work flexibility for a minimum of 6 months curricular internship; 12 months availability is a plus. Flexibility given to the candidate to follow compulsory exams.

Preferred skills and experiences
- Prior experience or internship in a multinational or corporate environment.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with a problem-solving mindset.
