NPDI Project Manager – Piove di Sacco, Italy
Responsible for managing projects related to new product development, customization of existing products, and product transfers across regions. Coordinates cross‑functional teams—engineering, product management, manufacturing, operations, procurement, quality, logistics, marketing, sales, and service—to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead end‑to‑end project management for new product development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Ensure projects follow the Corporate NPDI (New Product Development and Introduction) Process.
- Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, risk and dependency management.
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration and foster teamwork to achieve project deliverables and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Work with operating functions to identify and secure required resources for projects.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including engineering teams, operations, product offering, and executive leadership.
- Track and report on project progress, budget utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify and proactively mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines, scope, or quality.
- Foster continuous improvement, driving innovation and efficiency in the product development process.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management to define product requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and engineering capabilities.
- Initiate and complete post‑launch product analysis and feedback collection to inform future iterations.
What Makes You Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project/Program Manager in a structured organization.
