For our Milan office we are currently looking for a temporary SCM Specialist (m/f/d) in our B2B business (contract period: 1 year)
Responsibilities:
* Overall supply chain management from purchasing until end customer supply
* Ensuring and coordinating inventory levels, including purchasing, delivery order processing to the headquarter/parent company, and handling inbound/outbound logistics
* Support and monitor compliance with warehousing and logistics service contracts
* Coordinate the complete handling of the transportation chain and logistics processes
* Monitoring, reviewing, and processing logistic-related costs
* Monthly stock analysis and inventory management, including on-site stock investigation
* Customer service and complaint handling
* Monthly closing of inventory levels and customer invoicing
* Close communication with sales, customers, and logistics partners
* Customer balance confirmation and account verification
* Sales/accounting related administration and documentation
* Customs clearance and duty management
* Processing of purchase orders and preparation of sales invoices
* Tracking supplier contracts, checking, and entering supplier invoices
Experience Requirements / Competencies:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualification
* Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
* Proficient with PC and related software (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
* Knowledge of SAP (ERP) system preferred
* Business Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Italian is a plus
