Job Description
You will join our team as a Cyber Security & Network Consultant, supporting the definition, integration, and validation of security and networking solutions for complex systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the compliance and robustness of our clients' infrastructures. The position is based in Rome, with full-time presence required in the office (5 days per week).
Your Missions
* Define security and networking requirements, supporting the study, development, and implementation phases, and ensuring flow-down to subsystems in line with project design constraints.
* Analyze and manage Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) to address system evolutions.
* Define and configure network subsystems (e.G., COTS routers, firewalls), operating directly on real devices.
* Support verification and validation phases by defining test procedures for security and networking requirements, contributing to test documentation and assisting the integration team.
* Update system and subsystem documentation and specifications for cyber security and networking aspects (e.G., SSS, SSDD, DJD, Test Plan, Test Procedure).
* Conduct architectural and performance studies for cyber security, communications, and networking solutions.
* Participate in technical meetings with partners and/or clients.
* Support integration and verification activities for cyber security and networking solutions in classified laboratories.
Your Profile
* Experience in cyber security and network engineering, including requirements definition, integration, and testing.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for documentation, tables, presentations, and reports.
* Experience with software tools for operational data analysis and production of graphs, tables, and diagrams.
* Proficiency with common text editors for source files and programmable components.
* Experience with requirements management tools (e.G., DOORS, DOORS NG).
* Experience with network modeling tools (e.G., EveNG).
* Experience with vulnerability analysis tools (e.G., NESSUS).
* Knowledge of international standards (e.G., MIL-STD-498).
* Experience with programming languages (e.G., C, C++, Python, Matlab, Java).
* Object-oriented programming skills.
* Experience with modeling languages (e.G., UML, SysML).
* Experience with virtualization technologies (e.G., VirtualBox, Proxmox, vSphere).
* Experience with Unix-like operating systems.
* English fluent. Italian is a plus.
* You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* You demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
* You demonstrate adaptability and a proactive approach to complex technical challenges.
