We are seeking a Software Designer for our PISA office.
The candidate will work within a diverse team, initially focusing on understanding algorithms devised by data processing experts, collaborating to finalize data, and designing and implementing software architectures to efficiently process data. The role involves releasing software components for integration into current and future IDS GeoRadar products. The candidate will also be involved in the conceptualization of algorithms and will receive specialized training on radar topics. Additionally, the role includes experimental activities, programming, and managing measurement campaigns with prototypes or systems under development or already on the market.
The role primarily interacts with other R&D departments, including the Software Development team, for software product development and release, and the System Design team, as data collection depends on radar system configurations. There will also be interactions with the Product Management group to gather customer feedback on system performance and data processing.
Responsibilities
* Analyze and schematize technical problems related to data collected by IDS GeoRadar products.
* Design algorithms for processing the collected data to address specific problems.
* Develop code to implement these algorithms, including code management, testing, and verification of results.
* Maintain developed code.
* Conduct measurement campaigns with IDS GeoRadar products or prototypes.
* Perform additional tasks as assigned.
