Ph3Overview /h3pIn this role you will lead the definition, development and certification of avionics systems within the Avionic Systems – Systems Engineering team. You will interface with multiple engineering disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure system requirements capture, architecture, and verification align with customer and certification demands. You will manage the system development lifecycle, from requirements through to final qualification, including test procedures and certification documentation. The position offers involvement across design, integration, testing, production support and bid activities, contributing to safe and compliant aircraft installations. This is a hands‑on, cross‑ /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliCapture, allocate, derive, validate and verify avionics system requirements from customer and certification needs /liliDefine electro‑avionics design and integration via functional schematics and interface control documents /liliDevelop system‑level requirements for software components /liliLead or support design reviews and lifecycle milestones (SReqR, DRs, SW RRs, TRR, Flight Clearance, Final Qualification) /liliPrepare and monitor equipment and system specifications, and manage supplier development and qualification /liliCreate bench and aircraft test procedures, participate in aircraft trials and off‑site test ranges /liliPrepare certification documentation (design reports, test plans/reports, analyses, qualification and compliance reports) /liliProvide technical management of external suppliers and support production and customer support for troubleshooting and testing /liliLiaise with customers and internal/external stakeholders; support bid activities with future customers /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliUniversity degree or equivalent in a technical field (electronic, telecom, automation, computer, nuclear or electrical engineering; aeronautical or other scientific discipline) /liliProven experience in design, development, integration and qualification of avionics systems (civil or military) /liliFamiliarity with civil/military aerospace certification environments /liliDesirable knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., IBM Rational DOORS) and Model Based System Engineering (e.g., UML/SysML) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
