We are committed to treating all applicants fairly and avoiding discrimination. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liActively represent the Purchasing function in bioMérieux's new instrument development projects, especially during the design phase: participate in project meetings, gather the needs and requirements of the development teams. /li liAnalyze, compare, and challenge the solutions proposed by RD and development teams as needed, to propose alternative solutions to improve margin and reduce Purchasing risks (project and commodities). /li liParticipate in and formalize approaches related to value analysis, design-to-cost, TCO analysis, and lifecycle management of components/raw materials. /li liContribute to supplier selection following the Project Purchasing process, conduct Make or/and Buy analyses, identify and implement actions to minimize supplier and purchasing risks. Contribute to the performance/quality/cost/service objectives of projects while respecting purchasing strategies: Corporate Purchasing and commodity Purchasing. /li liMonitor the supply of components for prototypes: collect RD needs, manage quote requests, negotiate, implement contracts, manage the relationship with selected suppliers and partners until component delivery. /li liCollect and analyze purchasing information to update the Project Purchasing Dashboard to control the manufacturing cost of the new instrument. /li liContribute to the Corporate Social Responsibility approach in product development projects: Eco design, sustainable sourcing, local/green sourcing, CO2 impact, green software by collecting and calculating CSR data for the new instrument, creating dashboards. /li liCollaborate with all departments that can contribute to the development of new products: Purchasing, RD, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal. /li /ul h3Who are you? /h3 ul liEngineering/Master's degree (Generalist / Biomedical Engineering) or business school, and/or supplemented by a 3rd cycle in Purchasing. /li liFirst experience in Purchasing with real ease on technical subjects in an international environment. /li liStrong responsiveness, customer service orientation, prioritization skills, technical curiosity. /li liEase in relationships in your project interfaces and internal collaboration. /li liOperational level in Italian and English to interact with teams and suppliers, French is a plus. /li liProficiency in tools: PowerPoint, Excel (pivot tables), knowledge of SAP is a plus. /li liOccasional travel required. /li /ul h3Seniority level /h3 ul liEntry level /li /ul h3Employment type /h3 ul liContract /li /ul h3Job function /h3 ul liPurchasing and Supply Chain /li /ul pA family-owned company, bioMérieux has grown to become ba world leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics /b.
