To strengthen our Operations Team at our Ormelle site, we are currently seeking a Procurement Manager Italy : About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Procurement Manager Italy to lead and manage all purchasing activities for our production site specialized in plastic injection molding. The role is key to ensuring material availability, cost competitiveness, and operational excellence, while driving supplier performance and supporting the company’s growth and sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the local procurement strategy in alignment with Group guidelines. Manage purchasing activities for plastic raw materials (polymers, additives, masterbatch), molds, tooling, technical components, spare parts, and technical services. Lead contract negotiations and manage commercial agreements with local and international suppliers. Identify, qualify, and develop a competitive and reliable supplier base. Monitor raw material markets to anticipate risks and identify cost‑saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and industry standards. Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to secure operational continuity. Manage the procurement budget and report key performance indicators (cost, savings, delivery, quality). Contribute to investment projects (new production lines, capacity expansion). Promote sustainable sourcing practices and support ESG objectives. Your Profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment (plastics sector preferred). Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Knowledge of plastic raw material markets and supply chain dynamics. Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data analysis tools. Italian language speaking, Fluent in English (written and spoken), minimum level B2 CEF. Availability to travel domestically and internationally.
