Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for:
- Defining the technical product roadmap in alignment with business objectives and market needs.
- Leading innovation initiatives in packaging and labelling machinery, introducing new and advanced technologies.
- Developing new product features and upgrades based on customer insights and competitive benchmarking.
- Analysing market trends and competitor offerings to identify differentiation opportunities and strategic advantages.
- Providing technical input to support the commercial organisation in product positioning and go‐to‐market strategy.
- Collaborating cross‐functionally to ensure effective and timely product development and launch.
- Ensuring technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the machinery portfolio.
Competenze ed esperienza
- Availability to travel nationally and internationally (trade shows, customer visits, production sites), approx. 30-40%.
- 10+ years of experience in similar leadership roles, ideally within the industrial machinery or packaging sectors.
- Strong leadership skills and strategic vision, with proven managerial capabilities.
- Solid understanding of aftermarket business models, including spare parts, service sales, and lifecycle value creation.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast‐paced environments, with international exposure.
- Experience in entrepreneurial, rapidly scaling, or transformation‐driven contexts is a strong plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a customer‐centric and results‐driven mindset.
