WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Our Communication and Media Office is looking for a new position of Journalist/communication and media expert, responsible for supporting the press office in media relations, editorial and communication activities to disseminate and communicate the Foundation’s institutional and research activities. Workplace location: Lecce RESPONSIBILITIES The Journalist/communication and media expert is responsible of: - Supporting to the team in: - press office and media relations; - editorial and communication activities to disseminate and communicate the Foundation’s institutional and research activities. - events and public outreach activities; - Management control of the activities assigned. REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in science communication, with a special focus on climate change-related topics - Experience with realising multiplatform communication/dissemination/editorial strategies and plans. - Experience in press office activities, including the writing of press releases, articles, news, and interviews. - Experience with remote collaboration and office tools like GSuite and a good attitude in working with teams. - Experience with the most common CMS, with a particular focus on WordPress and mailing list management tools (i.e. Mailup, Mailchimp, etc.). - Experience in managing editorial content, writing articles and press releases in English and in Italian - Fluency in English. - Attitude to work in a team. - Attitude to work remotely and available to take part in meetings in presence and in videoconferences. - Willing to travel in Italy and abroad. - Ability to work both independently with mínimal supervision and in team. DURATION, COMPENSATION & BENEFITS - Based on the duration of the employment contract, without prejudice to any changes in organisation and/or career paths and downstream of the performance appraisal. - The appointment is assigned following: - internal selection; - The appointment period will be initially of 10 months starting from March 2024. - The gross annual salary will be based on qualification and working experience - Flexible working time - Support during the immigration process, if needed Belonging to legally protected categories (ex L. 68/99) will constitute a preferential condition.
