Functional Safety Engineer
This role involves designing, analyzing, and assessing the safety of software in the automotive and digital energy domains.
* Responsibilities:
* Safeguarding the integrity of real-time embedded software through innovative thinking and analysis.
* Contributing to the development of safety concepts and validation of software architectures.
* Conducting thorough safety analyses on embedded software.
* Maintaining compliance with industry standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508.
About the Position:
* A Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (PhD preferred).
* Experience in managing safety-related projects for several years.
* Familiarity with ISO 26262 (preferably parts 6, 8, 9, 11).
* Understanding of ECU architectures and embedded software design.
* Experience with microcontroller/processor internal structures.
* Proficiency in embedded software development (e.g., C, Assembly).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience with safety analysis techniques (HARA, FMEA, FMEDA, FTA).
* Familiarity with model-based tool development (e.g., Eclipse Modeling Framework, Java, Acceleo).
* Knowledge of the IEC 61508 standard.
* Familiarity with VHDL.
* Practical experience with AUTOSAR systems and A-SPICE application.
* Knowledge of POSIX-based RTOS.
