PbJob Summary : /b /ppThe Automation Application Specialist in the diagnostics industry is responsible for supporting the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of automated diagnostic systems and workflows. This role involves working closely with laboratory staff, customers, and cross-functional teams to ensure that automation solutions meet the needs of the diagnostics processes and enhance overall laboratory efficiency. The Automation Application Specialist will provide technical expertise, training, and ongoing support to ensure the successful deployment and operation of automation systems. /ppKey Responsibilities : /ppb1. Implementation and Support : /b /pulliAssist in the installation, configuration, and validation of automated diagnostic systems. /liliEnsure that automation solutions are integrated seamlessly with existing laboratory workflows. /liliProvide on-site and remote support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. /li /ulpb2. Customer Training and Education : /b /pliConduct training sessions for laboratory staff and customers on the use and maintenance of automation systems. /liliDevelop training materials and documentation to support users. /liliEnsure users are proficient in operating and troubleshooting automation equipment. /lipb3. Optimization and Continuous Improvement : /b /pliAnalyze laboratory workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements through automation. /liliWork with customers to optimize the performance of automated systems. /liliImplement changes and enhancements to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. /lipb4. Technical Expertise : /b /pliServe as a subject matter expert on automation technologies and applications in diagnostics. /liliStay updated with the latest advancements in automation and diagnostic technologies. /liliProvide technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers. /lipb5. Quality Assurance and Compliance : /b /pliEnsure that all automation solutions comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO). /liliConduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance. /liliImplement and uphold rigorous quality control processes. /lipb6. Collaboration and Communication : /b /pliWork closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, RD, and customer support, to ensure successful project outcomes. /liliCommunicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders. /liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners. /lipb7. Documentation and Reporting : /b /pliMaintain accurate and detailed records of installation, configuration, and support activities. /liliProvide regular reports on project progress, system performance, and customer feedback. /liliDocument best practices and lessons learned for future reference. /lipbQualifications : /b /pliBachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. /liliMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation systems, with a focus on diagnostics or laboratory environments. /liliStrong technical skills and experience with automated diagnostic systems and laboratory equipment. /liliProficiency in relevant software and tools used in automation and diagnostics. /liliFluency in English, Italian and a 2nd EU language (Spanish, German or French) /lipbWorking Conditions : /b /pliThis position is Remote based and will require frequent travel to other company locations or to meet with clients and vendors. /lipJoin our winning team today.
