About The Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will draft and manage maintenance contracts, organize and coordinate activities of external contractors, and ensure the performance and efficiency of the Maintenance Department and pharmaceutical equipment, aiming for operational excellence. Responsibilities include: Planning and scheduling corrective and preventive work orders according to CMMS and production schedules. Supporting troubleshooting and maintenance activities in compliance with EHS and GMP rules for GxP/non-GxP equipment. Managing parts, documentation, archives, and SOP reviews. Drafting and managing maintenance contracts and coordinating related activities. Ensuring compliance with EHS regulations and supporting safety culture. Supporting shift information transfer regarding faults, plant status, and activities. Supporting spare parts management, warehouse order status, and system improvements. Managing EHS dossiers, chemical safety data sheets, and GMP archives. Proposing technical improvements and projects. Performing tasks autonomously with partially defined methods. Supporting critical spare parts analysis and preventive maintenance for new installations. Ensuring compliance with policies, EHS rules, and GMP standards. Supporting corrective and emergency interventions with a systematic approach. Qualifications: Master/Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, electronic, industrial, automation, etc.) 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector. Knowledge of industrial systems/utilities. Problem-solving skills and technical knowledge. Fluent in English and Italian. Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance is a plus. Proficiency in pharmaceutical systems and equipment. Good knowledge of cGMPs and HSE standards.
