Ph3Position Overview /h3pMicron’s SSD Product Validation organization seeks a Firmware Test and Product Test Engineer to define and execute validation strategies for SSD firmware used in datacenter and AI applications. The role supports product development teams to ensure robust coverage of product requirements and improves firmware reliability through engineering testing and continuous improvement. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliBuild and develop known, grey‑box, and closed‑system validation tests for SSD firmware used in datacenter applications. /liliPartner with firmware, hardware, and product development teams to translate product requirements into effective and scalable validation coverage. /liliCreate, execute, and analyze test plans that verify functionality, quality, and reliability across the SSD development lifecycle, focusing on identifying firmware issues and improving product robustness. /liliUse C, Python, and automation frameworks to accelerate firmware bug finding, support debug and root‑cause analysis, and collaborate closely with the firmware team to drive effective issue resolution and continuous improvement of validation methodologies. /liliLeverage AI‑supported development and validation tools to accelerate test creation and contribute to industry‑leading storage solutions. /li /ulh3Minimum Qualifications /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. /liliProven programming skills in C and Python. /liliGood written and verbal communication skills in English. /liliWillingness to travel, including international and intercontinental business trips, as needed. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience in product development, validation, verification, or product testing. /liliStrong Python skills for test development, automation, and data‑driven problem solving. /liliKnowledge of SSD architecture, storage concepts, and related protocols. /li /ulpAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
