PuPosition : /u Technical Support Specialist - Part Time /ppuLocation : /u West Palm Beach, FL /ppuJob Id : /u IT 7.25.2025 /ppbOpenings : /b 1 /ppbPosition Overview : /b /ppThe Technical Support Specialist ensures proper computer operations for end users to accomplish organizational tasks effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities include receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving end user help requests, utilizing diagnostics and help request tracking tools, and providing hands-on desktop support. /ppbKey Responsibilities : /b /pulliProactively monitor and support end user hardware and software needs promptly. /liliPrioritize workload to address the most critical issues first. /liliInstall, upgrade, and configure hardware and software. /liliAssist in testing new hardware and software before deployment. /liliConfigure, monitor, and maintain mobile security and virus protection software. /liliMaintain hardware and software inventories. /liliInstall, configure, and troubleshoot content management systems. /liliManage web environments, including internal and external websites, ensuring security, testing, quality assurance, and content updates. /liliServe as backup for VOIP phone systems, cell phones, and printers/copiers. /liliCreate and maintain user documentation for help desk support. /liliKeep equipment operational through repairs, following manufacturer instructions and procedures. /liliMaintain confidentiality of organizational information. /liliEnhance job knowledge via training, reading, and networking. /liliEnsure compliance with regulatory mandates like HIPAA and licensing agreements. /liliParticipate in disaster preparedness planning for data and equipment security. /li /ulpbMinimum Requirements : /b /ppHigh School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in Computer Science or IT preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a tech-related role, with helpdesk/support experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft products (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint) and operating systems, along with troubleshooting skills, is required.
