Scope and Purpose
As Business Director and part of the SCF deals team based in Milan, you will support the Head of the desk in coordinating and supervising the activity of ISP international SCF desks and be responsible for providing periodic reports to Top Management.
* Coordinate the information flow between the Head Office in Milan and local desks in New York, Singapore, London, Paris, Luxembourg, and other branches involved in SCF activity (Warsaw, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, etc.).
* Produce periodic reports related to revenues, approved credit lines, utilization, risk-weighted assets, and submit them to Top Management and P&C.
* Support local desks in the due diligence process of locally originated transactions and supervise the credit process in coordination with the relevant Head of Industry and Global Relationship Managers.
* Assist in developing a global origination and commercial strategy, being exposed to the SCF global market and maintaining contact with other financial institutions.
* Support the development of the bank's primary market presence to facilitate the marketing of Supply Chain and Accounts Receivable Finance products.
* Help prepare SCF business proposals and product support notes, and monitor the credit submission process.
* Participate actively in originating new business opportunities in the SCF area with banks, third-party platforms, and corporate clients.
* Serve as the entry point in Head Office for the international SCF desks.
Required Experience
Deep knowledge of the Supply Chain and Receivables Finance business, developed through at least 5 years of experience in the field, preferably within a bank or financial institution.
* Ability to identify, develop, and maintain customer relationships that generate SCF transactions.
* Understanding of the bank's global network, resources, and products.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to assess credit, country, documentary, and market risks, and to convey evaluations effectively in written proposals.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, international environment.
* Excellent language, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
* Effective communication skills in English, both written and oral, with senior management and colleagues regarding policies and strategies.
* Strong client communication skills and ability to develop relationships with clients.
