Responsibilities : Patient Support : Improve patient outcomes through education, implementing latest clinical best practices and medical staff interaction, with emphasis on OR and ICU. Visit key institutions where patients have been equipped with Impella Pump portfolio to collect clinically relevant data. Proctor / support cases in new surgical accounts as well as complex cases at experienced sites. Perform After Action Reviews (AAR) with MDs following cases and communicate results. Surgical Account Training & Management : Responsible for ongoing training at European surgical key sites. Enable and drive the growth and performance of our surgical business. Coordinate and lead activities with SAM, Franchise Team (TM / CC), Training department, Medical Office and manage customer education for new and existing accounts to ensure best clinical outcomes. Establish surgical peer-to-peer networks across the region to share best practices and implement / support peer-to-peer educational programs (including physician proctoring) in cooperation with our Physician Program Team and Medical Office.
