Reporting to the Head of Proposal Engineering, the Proposal Engineer will be assigned to projects based on workload and sales & marketing needs. The role involves collaboration with sales, purchasing, engineering, and operations to develop technical and commercial proposals. Responsibilities include: Collaborate with Key Account Managers, Sales Managers, Bid Managers, and the team to define offer strategies. Define and verify technical and commercial system requirements. Support the System Solution Architect in defining functional layouts, ensuring component coherence based on the company's Application Manual. Draft, independently or with others, the technical and commercial proposal documents as per client requests. Determine solution costs using estimation tools and information from suppliers and internal departments. Prepare technical and commercial documentation for client meetings. Present solutions to clients, covering all technical and commercial aspects. Contribute to negotiation processes related to proposals. Work with the System Solution Architect to select appropriate technologies, considering market options and technical specifications. Interface with clients to ensure project compliance with contractual requirements. Ensure project adherence to regulations and legislation. Prepare technical documentation to accompany machinery, ensuring safe and correct use. Requirements: Degree in Engineering or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a project-based company. Knowledge of intralogistics processes and/or automated sorting systems is preferred. Proficiency in 3D mechanical design software such as AutoCAD and advanced MS Office skills; knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus. Fluent in English.
