About the Role
Your mission is to act as the primary strategic liaison between Yibi Group and the most prestigious Italian luxury houses headquartered in Milan and Florence. You will lead negotiations to secure authorized licensing for "Home Fragrance & Scented Decor"—categories that allow Italian heritage brands to expand their presence into the lifestyle spaces of Chinese elite consumers. You will be responsible for pitching Yibi’s "Zero-Risk Expansion" model, blending Italian craftsmanship (Artigianato) with China’s digital-first market mastery.
Responsibilities
Strategic Italian Brand Acquisition: Identify and initiate high-level dialogues with Licensing Directors and Heads of Beauty/Lifestyle at iconic Italian Maisons. Olfactory Lifestyle Pitching: Present business cases for translating a brand's "Made in Italy" identity into premium home fragrance collections (candles, diffusers, ambient scents) for the China market. HQ Relationship Management: Navigate the specific governance structures of Italian family-owned or conglomerate-owned Maisons, managing relationships across marketing, legal, and product development. Scent Economy Advocacy: Use localized data to demonstrate the potential of China's "Scent Economy," specifically how Italian lifestyle aesthetics resonate with China’s Gen-Z and HNWI demographics. Omnichannel Strategy Execution: Articulate Yibi's ability to reach elite consumers via private banking ecosystems and premium digital storefronts with absolute control over price and brand image.
Qualifications
Industry Experience: 10+ years in Luxury Beauty, Fragrance, or Lifestyle Licensing, with a strong background in the Italian luxury ecosystem (e.g., experience with L’Oréal Luxe Italia, Interparfums, or in-house at major Italian brands). Influential Network: An established, active network of senior decision-makers in Milanese and Florentine luxury headquarters. Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of the Italian "Dolce Vita" lifestyle and the sensitivity required to propose brand extensions that enhance rather than dilute a Maison’s exclusivity. Cross-Cultural Mastery: Fluency in Italian and English; the ability to explain the scale and speed of China’s e-commerce to traditional Italian brand guardians. Negotiation Excellence: Proven track record of navigating complex royalty structures and legal frameworks common in Italian licensing.
