For our client part of a global industrial company, we are seeking a
PRODUCTION PLANNER
Key responsibilities:
* Take ownership of production planning across multiple lines (make to stock and make to order), ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
* Translate business needs into actionable production schedules, balancing capacity, material availability, and customer priorities.
* Lead the implementation of digital tools (MES, Power BI KPI dashboards, others) to continuous improve and streamline planning processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and improve responsiveness.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (OTD, throughput, inventory levels) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Contribute to strategic planning and capacity expansion projects as the company scales.
Requirements:
* BS in Industrial Engineering, Managerial or Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
* 3 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong command of ERP systems and planning tools.
* Analytical mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
* Experience with digital transformation projects (e.g., MES implementation, data analytics).
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* A passion for improvement, innovation, and making things work better
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Curiosity, sense of ownership, results-orientation and autonomy are key soft skills to be successful in the role.
