We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer Manager.
Objective of the position is to ensure that all supplied components and materials meet quality standards. It involves managing supplier base performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives and collaborating with both internal teams and suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve supplier processes.
Responsibilities
* Lead supplier qualification and approval, including on-site audits and technical reviews
* Drive systematic APQP for NPI part development and exceed Supplier PPAP "Right First Time" targets
* Continuously monitor and improve Supplier base quality performance
* Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers to avoid repeat failures
* Manage and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers, providing training, coaching, and mentoring to strengthen supplier quality capabilities
* Act as the main point of contact between suppliers and internal teams, addressing quality issues and supporting Process Quality and Product Performance Specialist team to eliminate warranty failures
Qualifications
* 5-8 years of experience in driving cross-functional business processes and leading supply chain quality improvement efforts
* Excellent organizational, communication, and management skills
* Technical experience in the key manufacturing processes of mechanical, plastic, and electromechanical components
* Familiarity with quality assurance and measurement techniques
* Fluent in Italian, good knowledge of English is required
