What You Will Do
* Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be part of a team of expert developers working on Sysdig Monitor Product
* You will collaborate with colleagues in product and design to define feature specifications and timelines
* You will solve challenging problems about integrations, scalability and performance in a complex distributed system, to build reliable components
* You will be part of an amazing team, where the primary goal for everybody is to work together to build the best product we can
* Participate in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issue
What You Will Bring With You
* You will bring solid experience with Java Backend, such as RESTful API design and microservice-based architectures
* Preferably some exposure to Golang and Python languages
* Some Frontend web development experience with React
* Hands-on experience on computer science fundamentals in design, data structures and algorithms
* Proficiency with testing methodologies, such as unit testing and integration testing
What We Look For
* At least 3 years of professional experience working in a cross team environment, contributing to technical and product discussions
* Willing to participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and improve
* Willing to code and learn in different areas, ranging from Backend development to scripting tools
* Fluent in English with proficiency to collaborate with a global team while expressing your thoughts and ideas
* Experience operating in Kubernetes and Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) is desirable
