The company operates a distributed, automated infrastructure and is scaling rapidly in a multi-entity, international environment.Building an AI-native finance organization is a strategic priority.About The RoleReporting directly to the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will own group accounting, reporting, consolidation and controls across multiple legal entities. This is a senior, hands-on role for a finance leader capable of structuring, scaling and automating finance operations in a deep-tech context.Strong, proven experience leveraging AI in accounting operations is mandatory.The role is not about maintaining legacy processes, but about designing an AI-first accounting function.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn monthly, quarterly and annual group close and consolidation Deliver accurate management accounts, board and investor reporting Ensure IFRS / local GAAP compliance across jurisdictions Define and enforce group accounting policies and internal controls Lead and optimize NetSuite ERP across the group (NetSuite is a must-have) Drive automation and AI adoption (reconciliations, anomaly detection, journal automation, close acceleration) Manage audits, statutory compliance and intercompany processes Partner closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives and growthRequired Experience & Profile8–12+ years in accounting / financial control Strong experience in multi-entity, international environments xdwybme Background in SaaS, cloud, infrastructure or deep-tech companies NetSuite expert (+++) Mandatory hands-on experience implementing AI tools in accounting workflows Strong IFRS / GAAP knowledge and consolidation expertise Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) Comfortable building finance infrastructure from the ground upWhat We OfferKey leadership role in a European AI & cloud deep-tech company High autonomy and ownership Opportunity to build a best-in-class, AI-native finance function Fully remote setup (EMEA) with limited travel (:10–15%)
