PpbDescription /b /p pbThe opportunity /b /p pAs RD Team Leader in bMonselice /b, you will join the bPower Transformers Technology /borganization within business unit Transformers, contributing to the successful roadmap execution defined for your team. /p pbHow you'll make an impact /b /p ul liAs an RD Team Leader your main task will be the coordination of a team of engineers to successfully execute and hand over RD projects within the given budget, time and scope as defined by the Technology Manager and Global Product Managers. /li liYou will be responsible for line management and the development of the team and team members. /li liAs manager and resource owner, in coordination with the RD Operations manager, you will lead and distribute work task, support the team and the project managers to drive the projects, implement existing and further develop efficient work processes to increase productivity as well as preparing annual budget and follow up execution. /li liIn the role you will collaborate directly with other RD teams, different Hitachi Research Centers, receiving factories and engineering teams around the world, with a local focus for cross functional interaction. /li liIn RD, you will encourage and support the team to challenge existing technology, propose projects and processes contributing to the global plans and processes. /li liAs part of your role, it is expected to have a direct involvement as a team member in some of the RD projects, contributing with your technical expertise. /li liLiving Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. /li /ul pbYour background /b /p ul liDegree in Engineering (Mechanical, electrical or computational science). /li liMore than 5 years of experience in engineering or RD activities, preferably in Transformers business. /li liIt is preferable to have been in a management position or to have proven equivalent experience of leading teams. /li liExperience of larger and multi-year projects will be considered a plus. /li liYou have a strong character, you are determined, result-oriented and have an open mind-set. You have a deep sense of ownership to deliver the assigned targets. /li liYou should be skilled at managing different types of people, be able to coach as well as motivate and inspire others. You are innovative and creative, and actively seek to challenge existing approaches. /li liYou are very familiar with RD project management practices and processes.
