Responsibilities
The IT Infrastructure Specialist (Network & Security) will support the technology initiatives of the IT Infrastructure team at Keywords, responsible for follow-the-sun delivery and support of Network services, prompt reaction on all network infrastructure incidents as 2nd line support, and cooperation with other infrastructure teams for resolution.
Ensure that all escalated incidents are handled by the team within SLAs.
Participate in Problem Management processes.
Ensure that Network Operations are reliable, secure, resilient and scalable to support the growing business.
Deliver assigned network infrastructure projects on time.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Create and maintain technical documentation on system designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Oversee network security measures and identify potential risks to ensure sufficient mechanisms are in place to protect systems and data.
Design, deploy, and support LANs, WANs, network appliances, load balancers, routers, switches, and other hardware.
Implement best practices and lessons learned from initiatives and projects to optimize future outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies, standards, and trends.
3+ years of experience in a Network Administration role delivering network infrastructure systems, security and support.
Technical knowledge of network equipment – switches, routers (Cisco, Dell, HP), firewalls.
Technical knowledge of organizing Wi-Fi setups.
Understanding of IPsec VPN setup, site-to-site tunnels, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of all aspects of design and implementation of corporate networking and systems infrastructure, including MPLS, VPN, network connectivity, Internet access.
Proficiency with switching and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, route maps, ACLs, route redistribution, path selection, and traffic engineering.
Experience with LAN / WAN / SD-WAN design and architecture.
Strong understanding of infrastructure change management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues.
Ability to work with vendors and service providers to resolve escalated issues.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Desirable
Hands-on experience with firewall configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
Experience with RAS VPN configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting across user devices.
Experience integrating GlobalProtect with authentication mechanisms such as LDAP, SAML, and MFA.
