Italdesign is looking for a passionate and dynamic person, with strong verbal and written communicational skills, who will be part of the Legal & Governance team.
Reporting directly to the manager of the function, as a Legal Specialist you will provide legal support on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, helping to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
You will work closely with various business functions, including Purchasing, R&D;, Quality, Sales, HR and Compliance, as well as external legal advisors and authorities. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge projects related to mobility, technological innovation, and design.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts typical of engineering services companies, both in Italian and English, such as: supply and subcontracting agreements, R&D; and engineering service agreements, NDAs and confidentiality agreements, framework agreements with Business Partners
Support corporate governance activities, including drafting of board resolutions, powers of attorney, and maintaining corporate records
Support the internal units in the management of legal issues, legal opinions
Support in dealing with governance and Data Protection (GDPR)
Monitor and interpret applicable laws and regulations impacting Company business
Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders and ensure risk mitigation in day-to-day operations
Work with IT and Compliance team on matters related to IT security and internal and Group policies
Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies when needed
Manage priorities while respecting deadlines
Key requirements
3–5 years of experience in a legal department of multinational industrial companies (preferably in the automotive sector) or in international law firms with strong focus on commercial and corporate law
Solid knowledge of civil, commercial, and corporate law (national and European Union regulations)
Autonomous drafting of legal texts
Accuracy, clarity and completeness in the preparation of documents
Communication, negotiation and conflict management abilities
Team player with a proactive and business-oriented mindset, and respect for others
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Precision, good organization and good management of time
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
Diplomacy and ability to interact at various levels of responsibility
High level of integrity and confidentiality, accountability and flexibility
Preferential requirements
Qualification for the legal profession (bar examination)
Second-level master's degree in business law
Knowledge of regulations on innovative ICT technologies
Familiarity with the regulatory framework applicable to the automotive industry
Education:
Master's degree in law
Language skills:
Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated.
