This role is responsible for maximizing revenue delivery, coordinating real-time responses to alarm conditions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations. /p pstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliMonitor and operate a wide range of large and small generating assets using multiple monitoring and control platforms. /liliEvaluate complex operating conditions against regulatory and contractual requirements, including operating contracts, OM agreements, transmission and scheduling guidelines, and business practice manuals. /liliSupport OM compliance during equipment changes by enforcing change management policies and safeguarding Generator Owner interests. /liliMonitor equipment not yet under OM jurisdiction, identify high-priority alarms, and provide risk mitigation recommendations to commissioning teams. /liliOperate multiple power plant control systems, understand the behavior and capabilities of each technology, and predict grid responses to control actions. /liliImplement voltage schedules in line with operating agreements and contracts. /liliInitiate and document alarm response plans, ensuring timely communication of all required notifications to owners, transmission providers, and scheduling entities. /liliPerform root-cause and failure analysis using historical data (e.g., inverter trips, MV equipment failures, control system faults), ensuring accurate outage classification and reporting. /liliCollaborate with maintenance teams to balance contractual obligations, outage impacts, and revenue optimization, always maximizing fleet value. /liliMaintain the operator log to track outages, alarms, control actions, contractual changes, and interactions with regulatory bodies. /liliProvide contractually required notifications of equipment failures and performance issues. /li /ul pstrongExperience Qualifications /strong /p pstrongExperience /strong /pulliExperience in power plant operations. /liliSolid technical knowledge of plant processes, electrical systems, and SCADA. /liliProven ability to analyze equipment performance and resolve performance issues. /li /ul pstrongBehavioral Skills /strong /pulliStrong coordination skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence. /liliProblem-solving ability, both independently and in collaboration with teams. /liliComfortable working in high-pressure environments with direct impact on safety and reliability. /liliFluent in Italian and English; knowledge of French is an advantage. /li /ul pstrongTechnical Skills /strong /pulliProficiency with MS Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook. /liliExperience with CMMS platforms (e.g., Salesforce). /liliKnowledge of electronic power system protection equipment. /liliVBA and/or SQL knowledge is an advantage. /li /ul pstrongEducation /strong /pulliDegree in power systems engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent apprenticeship training. /liliRelevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. /li /ul
