What you'll work on
* Lead the QA strategy and processes for the Arduino Cloud and Software team.
* Guide a small team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
* Define and monitor key quality metrics to ensure the highest standards for all software products and services.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
* Oversee comprehensive test plans and drive the adoption of test automation.
* Serve as the primary contact for all software quality issues, collaborating closely with product, support, and external teams.
* Establish and maintain a robust bug tracking process to ensure issues are well-documented and prioritized, facilitating technical investigations.
What you bring
* BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
* 8+ years of QA experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
* Proven experience leading QA teams and developing comprehensive QA strategies.
* Deep knowledge of QA methodologies and various testing types.
* Professional experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Bonus Points
* Experience with backend API testing.
* Experience with performance and load testing.
* Knowledge of software security guidelines or security testing experience.
* Familiarity with Arduino and embedded programming.
* Experience in the IoT field.
