The Comiso production site is manned 7 days a week from 08:00 to 17:00, with 24/7 coverage ensured by Energean Sicily personnel and, when required, by contractor staff.\nBoth ensure the safe and continuous operation of the facilities, maintaining full functionality of process logic systems, compliance with legislative requirements, and the production targets set by the company.\nWithin this context, the Site Manager operates to ensure all the above-mentioned aspects, guaranteeing full regulatory compliance of the production site and overseeing plant operations and the entire production process, including services and utilities. To this end, following a formal appointment signed by the Mining Concession Holder, the Site Manager acts as Worksite Supervisor (Sorvegliante) for the Comiso II site in accordance with mining regulations (Legislative Decree 624/96). Accordingly, the Worksite Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the implementation of all legal and regulatory requirements related to the protection of workers’ health and safety, ensuring their full application. The Supervisor ensures a continuous presence at the worksite and, regarding safety oversight activities, reports directly to the Direttore Responsabile (Responsible Director).\nThis role is administratively and hierarchically placed within Operated Fields Production and therefore also reports to the Operations Manager.\nIn carrying out the duties of Worksite Supervisor, the role reports directly to the Responsible Director of the mining concession, as defined by the safety organization chart. The Site Manager oversees a team consisting of Production Operators, who are responsible for the operational management of the facilities. The activity will be carried out on weekly shifts from 08:00 to 17:00, except in the event of operational needs and/or site emergencies requiring on-site management. Key Accountabilities: Operational management of the Comiso II production site, including gas production, power generation, and gasoline production.\nCoordination of site operations and maintenance activities, ensuring both operational efficiency and safety compliance.\nManagement of all administrative documentation for the Production Site and preparation of the forms required by regulatory authorities regarding production data, incident statistics, gas quality, waste management, and any other documentation necessary to ensure the site’s regulatory compliance.\nSupervision of plant operations and continuous monitoring of production processes, safety systems, and utilities.\nIssuing all instructions necessary to safely isolate equipment and plant sections in order to carry out specific inspection or maintenance activities.\nMonitoring and oversight of plant systems to prevent any type of environmental pollution.\nOn-site supervision of work activities to ensure compliance with all applicable safety requirements.\nActing as Plant Responsible Person to ensure the safe execution of activities, evaluate residual risks for each specific work task, and prepare the corresponding work permits.\nPeriodic management of all plant safety systems, with responsibility for verifying the full functionality of each device as required by applicable regulations and inspection/maintenance plans.\nManagement of Production Operators involved in plant operations, providing clear and specific instructions to support the safe and efficient operation of the facilities.\nActive participation in the emergency response team and contribution to the activation and implementation of emergency plans.
