Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Compliance Assessor to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking general and basic social compliance assessments based on established procedures and client expectations. They will also deliver quality reports according to protocols and timelines, maintain knowledge of local labor laws, and work with internal team members to accomplish tasks during on-site assessments and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct social compliance assessments in accordance with client requirements and LRQA procedures;
* Prepare high-quality reports that meet client and company standards;
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor laws and regulations;
* Collaborate with internal teams to achieve project goals and objectives;
* Ensure adherence to company policies related to integrity, confidentiality, and schedule leakage.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Labor Law, Human Resources, Social Work, Occupational Health and Safety, or Environmental Studies;
* Sufficient professional experience to meet the expectations for LRQA auditors;
* In-depth understanding of international, national, and local laws and standards relevant to labor compliance;
* Proven ability to carry out supplier compliance assessments, including conducting confidential worker interviews and reviewing employment records;
* Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English;
* Travel flexibility and willingness to work independently under varying conditions.
