For our client, an important Italian company active in the railways industry, we’re searching for a
**RAILWAYS SITE MANAGER**
The Site Manager is responsible for supervising the execution and progress of work on the site in accordance with the plans established with the customer and in accordance with the national law, by coordinating internal/external resources in order to achieve predefined objectives.
He/she represents the Company on the site and is the main intermediary between the Project Manager of the contract and the construction management.
Job duties (Responsibilities and Accountabilities):
- He/She coordinates and plans the activities of equipment start-up and commissioning in collaboration and synergy with the Project Manager, coordinating the Test & Commissioning engineers (in collaboration with V&V; Manager) and checking the progress and quality of the work carried out
- He/She verifies proper provisioning of materials at the work site, maintaining record of the project materials inventory;
- He/she ensure full compliance with environmental and fire prevention regulations, including by checking that subcontractors comply with the regulations in force
- He/She interfaces with the Project manager of the contract, establishing periodic reporting scheduled meetings.
- He/She is available for management activities carried out by phone;
- He/She will manage on-site subcontractors and external resources appointed by PM for the project site activities execution
- He/She is available on call for site activities related to tickets and intervention under Warranty regime, assuring first intervention and organizing second level actions if required;
- He/She is available to provide attendance on multiple sites for different projects.
- He/She prepares site accounts, supporting PM for the project accounting and joining progress meeting with customer and subcontractor.
- The resource will be available to travel to the various sites by company vehicle
Place of work: Genoa (availability to frequent and mid-long work trips is required)
**Requisiti**:
Qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma preferable if electronic technical institute;
- IS0; IS1 course certificate;
- Qualification for security officer (Preposto alla Sicurezza) according to Dlgs. 81/08;
- Course on site protection certificate);
- Previous experience in the role (min. 5 years);
- Ability to use measuring instruments;
- Flexible mentality and precision;
- Good relational skills;
- Ability to manage resources;
- Good relationship skills with the final customer;
- Good relationship skills with other Company structures to give and receive cooperation.
- Technical support to the customer for critical failures on strategic facilities;
- Availability to travel both in Italy and abroad
