PpAmazon is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its Direct Tax Reporting team in Hyderabad, India. This role supports the Worldwide CapEx team with the reporting of US income tax consequences for Amazon’s unparalleled global portfolio of assets. /p pThe role focuses on Leasing and covers real estate and equipment assets, lessee and lessor operations, and all lifecycle events for both operating and finance leases. /p pA successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven, dynamic environment. Experience automating the organization of vast amounts of data into useful information is essential. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liAssist in preparation of Amazon’s US income tax provision, forecast, and tax returns as it relates to leasing transactions by analyzing US GAAP reporting, determining book‑tax differences, preparing workpapers and technical memorandums, and performing tax law research. /li liComplete deferred tax reconciliations for leased assets; identify drivers of basis differences. /li liIdentify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy of data. /li liDevelop analyses, metrics, and narratives to be communicated to tax management, external auditors, and other stakeholders within and outside tax. /li liCoordinate information requests with business partners to ensure accurate and timely inclusion within various tax reporting deliverables. /li liParticipate in special projects as assigned. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree. /li liKnowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level. /li liExperience working in a large public accounting firm or multi‑national corporate tax department. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liKnowledge of accounting principles, processes, and entries. /li liCPA. /li /ul pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
