We can’t wait to meet you! /ppstrongESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: /strong /pulliThe MRI Technologist operates the Magnetic Resonance operations at SimonMed Imaging centers. /liliKnowledge of magnetic resonance imaging procedures and technology /liliOperates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies /liliSelects appropriate imaging techniques, and operates console and peripheral hardware; enters and monitors patient data, transfers images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develops film in automatic processor /liliObtains images, produces film records and backups from disk to storage media, and transfers from desk to PACS stations /liliMaintains accurate study documentation /liliPerforms a variety of tasks /liliA certain degree of creativity and latitude is required /liliDemonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service. /liliUtilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment. /liliAdheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations. /li /ulpstrongOTHER DUTIES: /strongPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
