The Buyer will work with the team to research, analyze and forecast current and future buying trends, markets, and products; develop and maintain commercial relationships with suppliers to ensure satisfactory purchasing agreements reaching the best combination of quality, rates and services. /p h3Your Impact /h3 ul liSource Food products worldwide in line with expected target and in compliance with the company guidelines. /li liManage and build appropriate commercial relationships with suppliers to develop strategic partnerships. /li liAnalyze suppliers’ quotations and bids, verify products specifications and negotiate terms conditions. /li liEvaluating market trends, proactively suggest innovative solutions and products and use market research to strategically plan future purchases. /li liProduce Analytics reports and maintain accurate records. /li liProactively work with Logistics and supply to achieve best possible procurement agreements. /li /ul h3Your Journey so far /h3 ul liPrevious experience in the role, minimum 3 years, ideally within the cruise sector; /li liDegree in Economics, Gastronomic Sciences, Procurement Management, Business Management (master’s degree in food and beverage management is a plus). /li /ul h3Your Essentials /h3 ul liExperience in the Food sector and comprehensive understanding of Food strategic sourcing and market trends; /li liGood Excel skills, knowledge of procurement e-platforms is an advantage; /li liExcellent knowledge of computer systems (knowledge of Crunchtime is an advantage); /li liStrong ability to analyze and interpret quotation data and logistics options; /li liVery good negotiating and communication skills; /li liFluent English and Italian, any additional language is an advantage; /li liAbility to work as part of a team; /li liAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; /li liAvailability to travel. /li /ul h3Our commitment /h3 pWe are committed to building a future that values diverse perspectives, embraces the world beyond borders, and fosters an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued, respected and empowered to be their authentic selves.
