The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa, Italy or Naples, Italy. /ph3Accountabilities /h3ulliDevelopment and execution of laboratory tests in a simulated environment /liliAnalysis and verification of railway signalling logics for IXL SubSystem (cover analysis, static analysis) /liliSupport the team of Validation in the definition, organisation and execution of the validation activities relevant to a project /liliSupport the Signalling Validation activities /liliConduct all testing and validation activities in full compliance with company standards, contract requirements, project schedule, approved test procedures, quality, safety and environmental objectives according to the CENELC standard /liliCreate and issue test documentation and reports /liliManage the configuration of documentation and software in the laboratory /liliPerform troubleshooting, identification and resolution of system and subsystem issues /li /ulh3Required skills /h3ulliBasic railway signalling knowledge /liliSoftware development and programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Python) /liliExperience and knowledge of implementation engineering processes covering testing and validation /liliGood knowledge of HW and SW systems /liliStructural analysis /liliProblem solving skills and critical thinking, with possible experience in validation /liliStrong orientation to work in multi‑functional and/or international projects /liliFlexibility and comfort in working in a project/functional matrix organisation /li /ulh3Education/Qualification /h3pMaster's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent in Electrical, Informatic, Computer Engineering or Information Technology /ph3Languages /h3pThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
