Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
As an integral part of the European Supply Chain operation, the Assistant Manager 3PL Management supports ensuring best-in-class service for our current and future 3PL warehouse network. Close collaboration with external warehouse providers and internal stakeholders will ensure the achievement of our service level targets.
The Assistant Manager 3PL Management will ensure transparency with external providers regarding short- and mid-term volume forecasts, identify risks, and define actions to maintain service quality to our consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee 3PL inbound and outbound flows related to daily DC operations to ensure operational and commercial efficiency.
* Coordinate demand from market functions to 3PL DC teams, addressing urgencies and priorities, and follow up until resolution.
* Support escalation processes with adidas teams and stakeholders, ensuring proper alignment and follow-up until issues are resolved.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Order Fulfillment, Customer Fulfillment, Customer Service) and external partners (3PLs, carriers) to ensure quality performance.
* Serve as POC for DC service team on daily operations, prioritizing tasks and providing feedback on urgent topics.
* Assist 3PL with inquiries such as claims, returns, and refusals to ensure effective communication and quick issue resolution.
* Support escalation of system message issues related to Inbound processes, ensuring ASN visibility and timely fixes.
* Contribute to process improvements to enhance inbound/outbound flow efficiency, including new operational requirements.
* Participate in review meetings with 3PL and carriers, preparing necessary documentation.
* Act as a specialist in DC daily management for projects and IT testing support.
* Backup for ordering adidas consumables and ensuring smooth flow of personalization materials as per contractual terms.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Fluent in English and Italian (advantageous)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), knowledge of SAP AFS and WMS
* Basic knowledge of warehousing and logistics processes
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Analytical mindset with a logistics/supply chain focus
* Reliable, with a high sense of accountability
Minimum Qualifications:
* Degree in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred; or equivalent experience
* At least 2 years of progressive experience in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain
