WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
STEM Graduate – Junior System Administrator Linux (Fixed-Term | On-site)
Location:(Roma Tor Tre Teste, on-site, 5 days/week)Join our client'selite technical team in Rome, supporting key activities forEuropean space programs.
The company is a long-standing partner ofspace agencies and institutions, with deep expertise inIT systems, operations, and engineering supportfor ground segment infrastructures.
We are looking for amotivated STEM graduate(preferably in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or Telecommunications) who is eager to start their career in a dynamic, international environment.
You will join our client's technical operations team based inRome (Tor Tre Teste area), supporting activities related toLinux systems administration, database management, and technical verification taskswithin high-security, critical-infrastructure environments.
AB2 level of English is required.
The ideal candidate has already completed an internship or held a junior technical role, and is ready to take ownership of operational tasks, work closely with clients, and grow into a consulting mindset.
YOUR TASKSSupport system administration ofLinux-based environments
Managedatabases, monitoring, and basic configuration
Collaborate ontechnical documentation, reporting, and system validation
Participate inclient-side operations and service delivery
Assist withapplication monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting
Follow up onticketing systemsand support workflows
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a STEM field(Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, etc.)
English B2 or higher(spoken and written)
Basic knowledge of Linux OSand databases
Strongcommunication skillsandclient-oriented attitude
Hands-on mindset, flexibility, and readiness to learn quickly
Preferred:
First experience through an internship or junior position
Familiarity with ticketing tools and technical documentation
Availability to start on short notice
