ASSEMBLY INTEGRATION AND TEST ENGINEER – ABOUT THE ROLEWe deliver innovative mechanical engineering solutions for ground and space-based optical applications. We are seeking an AIT ENGINEER to take care of the integration and alignment of our optomechanical systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on work and thrives in a collaborative environment. We’re looking for a team player who can work closely with the engineering team and is eager to tackle challenges head-on.WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DOAssist in mechanical integration of telescopes and optical systems;Support optical alignment activities (mainly in cleanroom);Help with the use of electro-optical instruments (interferometers, theodolite, CCD cameras); Contribute to setup and validation of measurement systems;Assist in optical data processing and test report preparationTelescope mechanical integration.YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN AIT ENGINEERDegree in Physics or Engineering (recent graduates welcome);Basic knowledge of optics and mechanical principles;Familiarity with standard tools and ability to read mechanical drawings;Strong willingness to learn and problem-solving attitude;Good communication skills;Team-oriented mindset.THESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVEInternship or academic project experience in optics or mechanical integration;Knowledge of optical image processing or interferometric measurements;Familiarity with optical alignment concepts;Basic knowledge of Zemax or similar software.ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONLocation: Sarcedo, Vicenza (Italy)Working time: full timeBenefit: company Gym
